Just before arriving in Silverton, Colorado, on Highway 550, this old mine comes into view on the East side of the road! If these old structures could talk, one can only imagine the tales they would tell of days past!

This beautiful field of Ragworts popped into view as I rounded a corner near Chapel Hill, Texas! It's gonna be a great year for wildflowers in this part of the Lone Star State!

Mission La Bahia Texans Tomb

Sad commentary for Texas History! Mission La Bahia was used as a prisoner of war holding area during the fight against Mexico for Texas Independence. All the prisoners held here were marched into this field and executed, then buried under what is now this monument to their part in History....
